'We had a deficit that was around over one hundred wheelchairs', "says Dr Sheikh Guindo, director of the Center Talibou Dabo Grand Yoff. But with the equipment received from Obi, the leaders of this institution grow one ouf of relief. 'These chairs come and meet the thorny problem of the mobility of children. Because of the house at the Centre, children face serious difficulties for mobility. And the acquisition of the technical means to be a step towards meeting the mobility of disabled children ', says Dr Guindo. This gesture of Obi, through Evangelical Fellowship of Senegal represented at the ceremony by Pastor Gabriel Sagna, was also welcomed by the Federation of Senegalese disabled. Its chairman Laba Cisse, blinded in his condition, and at the same time special adviser to the President of the Republic, called for a better integration of disabled people in everyday life. For him, the various players in charge of the disabled must work around a synergy of actions to ensure that persons with disabilities are not shod at home. Laba Cisse has also invited his fellow disabled to engage in income-generating activities. Abundant in the same direction, Abdoulaye Seck, a disabled person who hosts a radio broadcast community Afia Fm, insists an education of his comrades. 'It is important that parents take their responsibilities by bringing disabled children to school. Nothing is more dangerous to an individual that ignorance ', says Seck says that having a disability due to a bad bite when he was just 10 years old. For his part, Minister of Health and Medical Prevention recalled how access to employment for persons with disabilities is a key route integration, which depends on the participation of all actors in the economic and social life. Thus, Safiètou Thiam invites different players to develop reflection on the necessary bridges between training and employment, begging and working, suffering and the hope of a better life. In his view, the company should remain "vigilant" so that poverty is neither inevitable nor the prerogative of people with disabilities. Then there is a 'imagination' to the establishment of frameworks for development for the disabled and a 'civic' to an increase mutual understanding.
