Mechthild Bach, 58, is accused of having administered doses of drugs to patients between 2002 and 2003. She refused to speak at the opening of the hearing, but had denied the charges in an interview given earlier to a newspaper. Several of his former patients demonstrated outside the court, demanding that the charges against the doctor to be lifted.
